Apollo Debut: Reinvented Platform, People and Philosophies

The PrintSites team has been hard at work and delivered a strong, united message at PRINT 18 – we are transitioning from a software development company to a customer focused technology company. For over 10 years, we’ve taken pride in having first-rate customer support and our goal is to raise that standard of excellence! With this incredible platform upgrade, we’ve created a high performance, yet elastic platform to insure rapid response to our customers’ ever-growing needs in the print industry.

Greg Ramos, CEO, and David Kizer, CFO/COO, took the helm in January 2018 and brought in a new team of leadership across technology and business. They quickly recognized that for PrintSites to go from good to great, it needed an ecosystem where people and technology are more closely connected to keep pace with the industry: an improved platform that is flexible and extensible to different customer needs, while intuitive and enjoyable to use.

Enter Apollo

PrintSites reinvented platform was introduced at Print 18.
Apollo has been PrintSites’ largest platform upgrade to date. Performance, stability, usability, and customer experience have been the focal point, along with a number of cost effective features that our customers have been anticipating.

The Apollo Core marks the flagship product of the PrintSites Suite; a comprehensive set of web-to-print modules soon to be announced. This will enable PrintSites to offer a complete end to end solution for the print and marketing industry.

It’s exciting to talk about new features like improved wide format support, multi-page products, point of sale ordering, and turnkey promotional products, but more importantly, we wanted to make sure we made things easier for our customers to use so we invested heavily in user experience. For example, managing products and pricing is more intuitive. This will enable our customers, as well as our support staff to configure products much faster while managing their product material costs more accurately, all while providing a first class online shopping experience for their customers.
Our customers use our tools to increase efficiency selling to their customers online. Apollo provides a perfect, complimentary digital partner to their existing business. We want our software to be a valuable extension of our customers’ business operations in order to help them increase sales and productivity.

PCNA, Polyconcept North America, is a leading supplier of promotional products – – supplying big corporations to community nonprofits. Representatives and some of their best products were on full display at the PrintSites exhibit at PRINT 18.

The turnkey promotional program was received very well and garnered a lot of serious interest. Prospects and partners liked the payment arrangement (everyone getting their cut at the time of transaction, no receivables or reconciliations, etc.), as well as its simplicity, with no hassle, no investment, and no vendor or order management.

PrintSites is also partnered with Paystr.
Attendees were introduced to “PrintSites Marketing Bootcamp,” a comprehensive training program developed by experts in the marketing and social media industry to help drive sales through the use of social media, in addition to traditional marketing. This robust, yet easy to use program allows for small business owners to truly dominate their local market and increase their sales by doing so. Most were interested in Social Media Advertising & Social Media Marketing, followed by: Local SEO, Email Marketing, and Adwords (Google Ads). Most attendees expressed that it would be “…valuable to have just ONE place to get marketing training.”

From Virtual Reality to Augmented Reality, from Variable Printing to 3D Printing, from Direct Mail Campaign Integration to Marketing Platforms, the team is extremely optimistic about the greenfield innovation happening in the industry and how the platform is evolving towards helping our customers deliver to their customers in the digital age of print!

The Results

PRINT18 was a huge success!
Attendees got a preview of the reinvented cloud based solution designed to improve printers business. By offering personalized demos’ and one-to-one interaction, visitors at the booth were impressed with the wide range of improvements included in the upcoming release. Some of the most notable features include multi page product support, improved wide format product support with custom size calculation for end users and improved HTML5.

PrintSites had an overall positive response from visitors (around 200+) throughout the show. Customers were excited to be able to have full control of their site, including the design. Customers also enjoyed the simplicity and simple navigation of the back office management system, easy to navigate.

I like the easy-to-use simplicity. I am impressed to be able to manage all orders on one system.

Attendees were also given the opportunity to speak with our developer and make feature requests.

PrintSites met with a number of our customers, including The UPS Store, Business Cards Tomorrow, and Franchise Services as well as a number of partners and prospective partners including Drummond Press, Canon, Mutoh, 4over and HP.
